Privacy Policy

University Animal Care provides online information and access to resources for students, alumni, the business community, faculty, staff, and the public.

Please note: University Animal Care website(s) may link to external websites but does not endorse these sites nor take responsibility for their privacy or security practices.

Use, collection and retention of Web Site user information

UAC does not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, e-mail or street address during your visit to its Web site. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, usually through contacting us via e-mail, or registering in a secure portion of the site. All personal information you do provide is protected.

E-mail and Form Information

If you send an e-mail with a question or comment, your e-mail address will only be used to reply to your question or comment. Requests for information may be forwarded or redirected to another University Animal Care employee who may be in a better position to respond.

If you fill out a Web-based form, information you provide will only be used for the explicit purpose of the form and will not otherwise be released to outside parties unless we are legally required to do so in connection with legal proceedings, law enforcement investigations, or state law.

Security

Although every effort is made to secure network communications, University Animal Care cannot ensure the privacy of online communications. Individuals using online services should take steps to protect personal information, such as closing their Web browsers after accessing the site.

University of Arizona-owned or controlled computers and equipment are public property and may be examined by authorized individuals to detect improper, illegal, or non-governmental use, to evaluate the security of the network, or for other governmental purposes.

Please be aware that any information placed or stored in a University-owned computer is subject to review by the university at any time.
